Featuring Eugenie Valentine's Dress

Updated: Jun 2, 2022

Lilya had the privilege of working with gorgeous Eugenie Valentine for her wedding dress.

This custom made wedding ensemble made with pleated silk chiffon bodice with red flowers, a fitted skirt, and cathedral veil sprinkled with red flowers. Festival of colors was the inspiration for the colors and design. Our time and collaboration together allowed us to choose the perfect fabric and develop an amazing design to accomplish an elegant, fit and flare look.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL I've watched Lilya work on many dresses of my mom's over the years, and when it came to my wedding it almost felt like a right of passage to work with her on a dress that was truly made for me. We started with a photo of a Marchesa dress that we wanted to try and recreate. We were drawn to the brightly colored flowers that adorned the top of the dress, and Lilya knew just how to make a version of that dress become a reality for me. I feel like anyone who goes through the custom wedding dress process needs to be prepared for the "emotional stages of fabrication" that a bride goes through. There is (1) excitement as you get started, (2) uncertainty during the initial fittings because you have a hard time seeing the vision, then finally you get to the stage of (3) "utter elation," when the dress suddenly becomes exactly what you were hoping for. I went through all of these stages and Lilya knew exactly how to handle me (and my mother) at each stage. She was real, she was practical, and she always knew exactly what to do! The final product was above and beyond what I ever could have expected. A two piece dress adorned with red flowers, and fitted perfectly to my body. Complete with a floor length veil with those same red flowers cascading down the back. It was not your traditional wedding dress, but it was so perfect for me. And I had an absolute blast in that dress! I still have the corset top that I throw on with a pair of jeans every now and then.I've watched Lilya work on many dresses of my mom's over the years, and when it came to my wedding it almost felt like a right of passage to work with her on a dress that was truly made for me.
